I watched the Apple keynote and thought “This is demonstrating a dystopia, with the Pure Vision Goggles, rather than a eutopia. A dystopia where everyone is alone, working in VR, rather than surrounded by people. The dystopia continued on with an app. In the age of two factor authentication they want to authenticate users by SMS, rather than free Two Factor Authentication. They’re losing users they almost seduced....

We would take photos with a camera, or a phone, and once we got home we would download them to our computer, using apps like Picasa and iPhoto. Lost Trips with the Citroën App — May 3, 2024I have had a Citroën car for two years and I find it’s great for road trips but crap for maneuvering due to the gear system. I also find that the app is a frustrating app to use. At least twice I have lost my trip data. The first time because I think I used "don’t share real e-mail address so I couldn’t recover the password when I forgot it and then again last night because I, or iOS removed the log files....
